The pendulum squat was designed to be the most quadriceps dominant form of squat you can perform. We took it to the next level by incorporating an adjustable foot plate, combined with the perfect back pad angle and "arc", to allow full hip and knee flexion to, maximally, overload the quads in their fully stretched position. The long back pad supports the lower back, to allow those with injuries to still perform a full ROM squat.  We designed the Citadel Strength pendulum to be the most adjustable pendulum on the market, with over 30 positions in the footplate alone to adjust for the height and ankle range of the user.

The reverse band pegs allow the user to smooth out the resistance profile of the exercise, to make every inch of the rep brutal. The self unlocking mechanism, allows the user to, safely and effectively, lock in their upper back using the handles on the side of the machine to increase stability and output from the quads.  

The construction of the pendulum includes 4 and 5mm steel, bearings rated to over 1.2 tonnes and indexing pins rated to over 5 tonnes, to deliver a pendulum that can handle any weight your members can use.  People from 4 foot 6 up to 6 foot 8 can comfortably use our pendulum due to the adjustability.

The hip press was designed to be the best lengthened range glute exercise you can perform. We took it to the next level by incorporating a unilateral design to increase hip flexion and glute stretch as well as adjustable shoulder pads for increased stability  The adjustable back pad adjusts both forward and back as well as up and down to adjust for the users hip mobility as well as their height 

The construction of the hip press includes 4mm steel, bearings rated to over 2 tonnes and indexing pins rated to over 5 tonnes, to deliver a hip press that can handle any weight your members can use.  People from 4 foot 8 up to 6 foot 8 can comfortably use our hip press due to the adjustability. 

With the design of our pulldown we engineered the arm to have the perfect line of pull for the lats with an adjustable resistance profile to change which part of the movement is heaviest.  The Citadel Strength lat pulldown has 3 weight pegs and depending on which one you put the weights on it will change where the weight is heaviest during the execution of each rep. 

If you put the weights on the bottom peg the exercise becomes light at the start and heavier at the contracted position. 

If you load the top peg the reverse is true and the exercise is heaviest at the start and lightest at the contacted position.   

Loading the middle peg results in the weight being very even though out the entire movement.

We did multiple prototypes of the seat and chest pad to ensure all users can comfortably stabilise every rep to get the most out of their workout. The by-product of having a rotating chest pad is the user can either do the most lat dominant pulldown on the market or rotate the chest pad to allow them to do upper back high rows

We designed the handle to rotate in both planes so the users height, with and preferred hand position can be accommodated for.

The Citadel 3N1 hack squat was designed to be the most natural feeling hack squat on the market. By using a 35 degree angle like the original Nebula hack you get a super smooth feeling without the knee shearing that can happen on a 45 degree angle. We run all our hacks on wheels to improve the smoothness of the machine over linear bearings. The 3N1 has an adjustable back pad that allows the user to do linear hacks and a unique fold down footplate mechanism that allows the user to do calf raises. If you are space conscience then the this is the perfect machine as you get 3 machines in the footprint of 1.
